Keller is a city located in Tarrant County. It is a northern suburb of the city of Fort Worth and is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The population was 37,685 at 2007. The Texas and Pacific Railroad between Fort Worth and Texarkana was completed in April 1881. With the advent of rail service, new villages were established all along the line. The Keller of today was one of them. On July 16, 2007 Money magazine named the City of Keller as one of the top 100 "Best Places to Live" in the United States. Keller was ranked number 50, the top rated city in North Texas, and among only six cities listed from the state.
